Fannie Lake Improvement District has contracted with Lake Restoration to treat Curlyleaf pond weed. They will be treating the lake with Aquathol in early May and in some areas be closer then 150 feet of the shore line. If you do not want them to treat that close to your property contact a board member by May 1
Lake Restoration treated 27.9 acres of Curlyleaf pond weed and will be treating Eurasian Milfoil in 2021
The new survey has detected 14.7 acres of Eurasian Milfoil and permit has been filed to treat as much as the DNR approves.

2021 there will be a survey done this spring for areas of the lake that have Curly leaf pond weed we expect it to be the same areas as have been treated in past years at around 36 acres. Another survey will again be done to look for Eurasian Water Milfoil and will be treated in the fall. ( seems to have spread so will likely treat more areas)

The Board is looking for new areas of the Lake to treat Curlyleaf Pondweed in the spring of 2020. If you have a suggestion please contact a board member or come to one of our meetings.
2017) The Minnesota DNR inspected the lake this spring and reduced the area of the lake we could treat down to 21 acres down from 45.55 that we have been treating in the past. We will be monitoring areas that we could not treat, and looking for new areas that we may want to treat.
